Transit Authority Names New CEO

The Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority will soon have a new leader.

BIRMINGHAM, AL — A new leader has been named at the Birmingham-Jefferson County Transit Authority. The BJCTA board of directors appointed Charlotte Shaw as executive director and chief executive officer, according to the Birmingham Business Journal.

Shaw currently serves as deputy director of the division of capital projects for the City of Birmingham and oversees the construction of the Birmingham Xpress Bus Rapid Transit system.
