  1. A group of local Birmingham women distributed winter clothing items to residents in need on Sunday morning. The women, who were part of the nonprofit organization "Women Helping Women Today," held the distribution at Linn Park. Blankets, hats, scarves, gloves, and food items were distributed. The group plans to do more distributions in the future. (WBRC)
  2. A Hallmark movie is filming in Birmingham. The film crew will be shooting footage for "Naima in Nashville" over the next couple of weeks for the Hallmark Channel. The film is still searching for stand-ins, background actors, and featured actors. The film's storyline has not been publicly released yet. (AL.com)
  3. The Jefferson County Department of Health reports that flu cases continue to rise at alarming rates. The states' COVID-19 positivity rate is also increasing. The rate is now up to 9.8 percent, which means that 9.8 of COVID-19 tests are coming back positive. The county's nurses and doctors have been enduring an exhaustive three years. (WVTM)
