Community rallies around Alabama crash victim (cbs42.com) — A 29-year-old mother from Waterloo was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Highway 157 in Morgan County, while her 7-month-old daughter was rescued and is now in stable condition at Cullman Medical Center. The community has already raised over $10,000 through GoFundMe and is seeking donor breastmilk to support the baby’s ongoing care and needs.

5. 101 anglers set to compete on 2026 Progressive Bassmaster Elite Series (bassmaster.com) — Cullman bass pro Jordan Lee is officially in the 101-angler field for the 2026 Progressive Bassmaster Elite Series, which opens on Lake Guntersville in February. He’ll compete for six-figure prizes and Angler of the Year points as the tour travels across six states, with fans able to follow every weigh-in online and on streaming channels.
