• Alabama approves medical marijuana licenses. Here's what's legal (montgomeryadvertiser.com) — Daphne is slated to get one of Alabama’s first medical cannabis dispensaries, operated by RJK Holdings, as the state finally launches its tightly regulated program. Residents should know that only registered patients can buy products, smokable marijuana and edibles remain banned, and possession for non-medical or recreational use is still illegal with serious penalties.
