• Walker County Basketball Tournament: Oakman, Dora win county titles (mountaineagle.com) — Dora High’s girls basketball team claimed its second straight Walker County Tournament championship with a dominant 66–34 win over Carbon Hill, powered by MVP Ja’laya Harris and sharpshooter Bella Reese. The Oakman boys also captured the county title, with MVP Hampton Hall having scored 27 points in an earlier win over Dora.
