• Glencoe's Bayley Blanchard hired by Cherokee County football (gadsdentimes.com) — Glencoe High School football coach Bayley Blanchard is leaving after one season to take over the Cherokee County Warriors, just after guiding the Yellow Jackets to their best year in more than a decade. His departure means Glencoe will now search for its seventh head coach in that span, though the program is stronger than before, with recent playoff success and key players returning.
