3 Students Recognized By Hoover Police Chief

HOOVER, AL — Three Hoover City Schools students were honored by the Hoover Police Department Thursday at the 2022 Hoover City Leaders Breakfast, organized by the Hoover Parent Teacher Council.

Chief Nick Derzis recognized an essay award winner, along with two high school students who earned scholarships sponsored by the Hoover Police Department.

Fifth grade essay winner Kate Campbell of Shades Mountain Elementary School was honored for her essay on School Resource Officer Jordan Berry.
