- On Tuesday, Jun. 20, an unexpected visitor surprised more than 200 kids who were attending a Montgomery church’s Vacation Bible School. A cow showed up at Taylor Road Baptist Church after making its way through EastChase. Montgomery Police showed up at the scene and a humane officer lassoed the rogue farm animal. (WSFA)
- Montgomery police have released the identities of the victims of two separate fatal vehicle crashes. On Saturday, Jun. 17, a vehicle collided with 43-year-old Kedric Hollenquest's bike in the area of Vaughn Road and Sturbridge Drive resulting in Hollenquest suffering a fatal injury. On Monday, Jun. 19, 30-year-old Christian Livingston was killed in a single-vehicle crash in the area of Norman Bridge Road and Lynwood Drive. (WSFA)
- On Tuesday, Jun. 20, legendary bluesman Buddy Guy announced he will perform at the Montgomery Performing Arts Centre on Thursday, Oct. 26, for his “Damn Right Farewell” tour. The musician, who is turning 87 this July, does not anticipate a full retirement but said he will probably play places on this tour that he will never play again. Ticket sales for the Montgomery show go on sale at 10:00 a.m. Friday, Jun. 23, here. (AL.com)

- Montgomery Whitewater's grand opening festivities will take place on the first full weekend in July! The event will include whitewater rafting and kayaking, a 5K and fun run, a national kayaking competition, live music performances, and more. (WSFA)
