• Man Stole Checks, Defrauded Cheshire Business, Police Say (patch.com) — A man from LaGrange has been charged in Connecticut after police say stolen business checks from Cheshire were altered and redirected to a Georgia clothing company. He was arrested in Georgia, extradited to Connecticut, and now faces forgery and larceny charges in Meriden Superior Court.
