  1. On May 26, Tandion Markeeice Stoudemire, 21, was taken back into custody in Montgomery after escaping from prison the previous day. Stoudemire was convicted of attempted murder in 2022 in Montgomery and is serving a 23-year prison sentence. Acacia Laraea Stallworth, who has a 2-year-old child with Stoudemire, was arrested on May 25 for allegedly facilitating the escape. (AL.com)
  2. Darryl Berry Jr., 18, was arrested and charged with attempted murder in connection to a shooting in Montgomery. According to the affidavit, Berry attempted to shoot the victim at point-blank range at about 7:00 p.m. in the 700 block of University Drive on Apr. 15. His bail is set at $60,000. (WSFA)
  3. Central Alabama Crime Stoppers will give a $1,000 cash reward to the anonymous tipster who led to the identification and arrest of Nyeiasha Lykes, 23, of Montgomery. On May 17, Lykes was arrested and charged with murder for the May 13 homicide of Deontae Vickers, 34, of Montgomery, on the 400 block of Finley Avenue. If you have information regarding the identity of wanted suspects or the whereabouts of wanted fugitives, you could also receive a cash reward by calling Crime Stoppers. (Elmore Autauga News)
