• Calhoun and Cleburne County Law Enforcement involved in Pursuit and Shots Fired (calhounjournal.com) — Law enforcement say a man from Oxford led deputies on a dangerous multi-county chase that began in the Oxford area, with shots reportedly fired at pursuing officers and multiple PIT maneuvers on I-20. The suspect was eventually captured in Cleburne County after allegedly carjacking another vehicle and causing several crime scenes, and prosecutors expect numerous attempted murder charges from both Calhoun and Cleburne counties.
