Former Pelham Police Chief Palmer and Current Mayor Waters shame City

This goes to show how gormless Pelham, Alabama is. Police Chief Larry Palmer allowed to retire (resign) and then roll for City Council while US Courts are after his butt and Pelhams. Acting HR Director Mayor Gary Waters while throwing dust on the situation that cost the city more settlements and not keeping HR directors, The whole City Council of Pelham knew this and said nothing. City of Pelham set up a board to find a new Police Chief and they did not accept the recommendation. They picked the current Chief Cheatwood due to his knowledge and keeping his mouth shut.

Since the Council, Mayor, City Manager, City Clerk all were in on this as members of the Personnel Board, and knowledge while putting this discussion in "Emergency Session" or other sessions and being paid for it they all have to go.

This council let this man who is a disgrace run and be elected to council. Shame to all of the members of Council, City Manager, Mayor, City Clerk etc... basically Pelham is run by scumbags.

This needs investigated.
