Residents are also seeing a surge of new and returning restaurants, repurposed buildings along Pelham Parkway, and upcoming audiovisual improvements at the Pelham Civic Complex and Ice Arena. 
• ‘We are discouraged': Pelham homeowners impacted by 2021 flooding still waiting for FEMA aid (wbrc.com) — Pelham homeowners hit by the October 2021 flooding are still waiting for clarity on FEMA buyouts, with only a fraction of submitted homes currently deemed eligible. City leaders say they’re frustrated too, urging affected residents to contact a dedicated FEMA buyout email while also highlighting new drainage and flooding-prevention efforts around town.
