Pelham's Palooza In The Park Set For May 19

PELHAM, AL - The City of Pelham is inviting residents to "Embrace the Outdoors, Southern Style" at its Palooza in the Park event May 19.

The event kicks off at 10 a.m., and includes more than 60 vendors, a Children’s Area featuring bounce houses, slides, carnival games and a 60’ obstacle course. As well, in the green space next to the playground, there will be a rock climbing wall, a bungee trampoline and a mechanical bull along with Blaze Entertainment all day.

Iron City Acrobats will provide performances throughout the day and along the vendor trail. Tiger Rock Martial Arts will perform on the music stage located in the green space next to the Children’s Area (Youth Football Field) at 11 a.m. followed by live music provided by Raquel Lily, Cotton Bird and Margeaux and the Pussy Cats.

In addition to the music, food and activities, the new library will host guided tours at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 3 p.m., and the new rec center will be open all day as well.
