Hewitt-Trussville Girls, Pinson Valley Boys Make Final Hoops Poll

MONTGOMERY, AL — The high school basketball regular season is winding down, and some local teams find themselves in the Alabama Sports Writers Association's final polls.

In the Class 7A girls poll, Hewitt-Trussville is ranked no. 4, as the Huskies have posted a 22-5 record and captured the 2-seed in the Area 6 tournament at Vestavia where they will play Gadsden City Feb. 8.

The final ASWA Class 7A girls top 10:

Pinson Valley will host the 6A boys Area 12 tournament as the top seed, as the Indians finished the regular season with a 21-7 record and a no. 2 ranking by the ASWA. Pinson Valley takes on Gardenale Feb. 8.
