Hey, Trussville! Hope everyone had a great Monday, and you're ready for me to catch you up on everything you need to know going on today in town. Some kudos are in order for a Hewitt-Trussville High School student who qualified for a national Scholar's Bowl competition after a strong finish in a tournament in Mississippi. Also in the news, there is a new coffee shop coming to Pinson soon. Learn more about it below.

  1. As I mentioned above, Hewitt-Trussville High School student Katherine Spusta was the runner-up in the Mississippi Winter History Bee and finished with a 3-1 record, and qualified for Nationals. (Trussville Tribune)
