• Trussville homicide suspect granted bond after Aniah's Law hearing (wbrc.com) — A man charged in connection with Trussville’s only 2025 homicide has been granted a $200,000 bond with electronic monitoring after an Aniah’s Law hearing. The case stems from a fatal shooting outside Velma’s on Highway 11, with testimony describing an argument, a knife threat, and claims of self-defense as the legal process continues.
   

• Obituary: Charlotte Ann White (cullmantribune.com) — A longtime North Alabama resident who was born in Trussville in 1948 has passed away at age 77, and her family is inviting friends to pay their respects. Visitation and funeral services will be held Friday, January 2, 2026, at Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church, with burial to follow in Holly Pond Cemetery.
