Springville Woman Identified As Christmas Day Crash Victim
A 51-year-old Springville woman was the driver of a vehicle that crashed in Jefferson County Saturday.
JEFFERSON COUNTY, AL — A car accident in Jefferson County Christmas Day resulted in the death of a St. Clair County woman, and injuries to five other people. The wreck occurred just before noon on Saturday at the intersection of Carson Road at Johnson Drive.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the woman who died in the crash as 51-year-old Angela Marie Blaylock of Springville.
According to Sgt. Jone Moni of the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, Blaylock was the driver of the vehicle, and was pronounced dead at the scene. An adult passenger and four children were taken to UAB Hospital and Children’s of Alabama for treatment of their injuries.
