Alabama and Mississippi State's weekend softball series on Saturday will now begin with a doubleheader on Friday, March 14.
TUSCALOOSA, AL — Alabama and Mississippi State's weekend softball series on Saturday will now begin with a doubleheader on Friday, March 14, due to projected severe weather.

The doubleheader will start at 2 p.m., with Sunday's series finale still remaining a 1:30 p.m. first pitch.

UA Athletics says fans with tickets for Saturday in a reserved seating area will have seating priority for game one.
Additionally, reserved tickets to Friday's game will hold seat priority for game two, with both game one and game two tickets giving fans access to the doubleheader.

Alabama softball also said Kali Heivilin's senior day activities will now take place on Sunday.
