Local Church to Bury Time Capsule Honoring Legacy and Faith
Tuscaloosa, AL &mdash; December 5, 2025 &ndash; Members of Culver Road Church will gather for a special time capsule burial ceremony on December 14, 2025 at 12:30 PM on the church grounds, located at 2701 Culver Road, Tuscaloosa Al 35401.
This meaningful event is part of the church&rsquo;s continued mission to preserve its spiritual journey and communal milestones. The time capsule contains handwritten letters, ministry photographs, and other artifacts contributed by the congregation, representing both the church&rsquo;s history and its hopes for the future.
&ldquo;Our church is built on stories&mdash;of faith, resilience, and community,&rdquo; said Kimberly Howard, Senior Pastor of Culver Road Church. &ldquo;This capsule will be a gift to future generations, reminding them of who we were, what we believed, and how we loved.&rdquo;
The ceremony is open to the public and will feature brief remarks, music, and a time of prayer as the capsule is placed into the earth. It is scheduled to be unearthed in 2050.
