Aliceville Woman Killed In Pickens County Crash Tuesday

An Aliceville woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Pickens County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — An Aliceville woman was killed Tuesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Pickens County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says the crash that occurred at approximately 12:10 p.m. when the 1987 Chevrolet Grumman LLV driven by April F. Box, 57, was struck by a 2007 Chevrolet 3500 pickup.

Box was pronounced dead at the scene.

ALEA said the crash occurred on Alabama Highway 17 near the 190 mile marker, approximately one mile north of Aliceville.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation,
