Attorney Clint Mountain Enters District 4 Race For TCS Board
Tuscaloosa attorney Clint Mountain on Friday announced his campaign for the District 4 seat on the Tuscaloosa City Board of Education.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa attorney Clint Mountain on Friday announced his campaign for the District 4 seat on the Tuscaloosa City Board of Education.

Mountain, who is married to a Tuscaloosa City Schools speech pathologist and has a daughter in the school system, is the managing partner at Mountain & Mountain law firm.

“I have seen firsthand the positive impact that the Tuscaloosa City Schools have each day on the children in our community,” Mountain said. “I want to do my part to support TCS and serve this community by representing District 4 on the board.”
Mountain touted his family's dedication to public service by saying his father, C. Delaine Mountain, served as the city prosecutor for the City of Tuscaloosa and then the Public Safety Commissioner for the city.

“Serving others was instilled in me at a young age,” he said. “The success of our schools is vital to the future of our city, and District 4 is the heart of this city. It would be an honor to help shape this future.”
Mountain is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a degree in business management and received his law degree from the University of Alabama School of Law.
Mountain also attends First Presbyterian Church and serves on multiple nonprofit and legal boards in Tuscaloosa and statewide.
“Patrick Hamner did a wonderful job representing District 4 and was a devoted member of the board,” Mountain said. “I will have big shoes to fill, but I am looking forward to the opportunity to put my skillset to work for our children and teachers.”
The Tuscaloosa municipal elections are set for March 4.
