Bibb County Teen Killed Saturday In Tuscaloosa County Crash

An 18-year-old from Centreville was killed early Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 82 in Tuscaloosa County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — An 18-year-old from Centreville was killed early Saturday in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. Highway 82 in Tuscaloosa County, according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

State troopers said the crash happened at about 3:30 a.m. near the 68-mile marker, roughly six miles west of Brent.

ALEA says the victim was driving a 2017 Ford F-150 when the truck left the roadway, struck a tree and overturned. Troopers then said the teen was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
