The distillery says the proprietary mashbill is barreled at 115 proof in Char# 4 American Oak and bottled without chill-filtration to preserve the most flavor possible.
Its tasting profile says it is 54% alcohol by volume, coming out to 108 proof in the glass — giving the bourbon plenty of bite to go with its illustrious bark.

Tracing its lineage back to the London pewter trade in the late 1600s, the Willett name carried on into the New World, with the family making its mark in Kentucky bourbon as early as the 1840s.
Still, it would be Aloysius Lambert Thompson Willett who became the founder and president of Willett Distillery in Bardstown in the early 1900s, with the family breaking ground on its distillery in 1936.
Their first barrel of bourbon was then stored the following year in its on-site warehouse and, in 2017, Willett Distillery produced its 25,000th barrel.
