Chamber Of Commerce Of West Alabama Wins Award For Video Inspired By 'Back To The Future'

ACCE has presented ​the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama with an award for its "Back to The Chamber" video

TUSCALOOSA, AL β€” The Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives (ACCE) has presented the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama with an award for Communications Excellence for its β€œBack to The Chamber” video.

The video β€” produced by Chamber member Seed Creative β€” was inspired by the 1985 blockbuster "Back to the Future" and premiered at the ACCE's 124th Annual Meeting in January.

Twelve chambers received Awards of Excellence this year across various categories based on annual revenue and type of communications entry. These categories included digital media, campaigns, publications and websites.

The Chamber says the video highlights its long-standing impact in the region by blending local leadership, nostalgic storytelling, and high-quality production.

β€œThis recognition affirms the intentional and creative approach we take to telling our story,” Chamber President and CEO Kyle South said. β€œWe’re proud to be honored by our peers for a project that not only celebrates where we’ve been but also energizes our continued commitment to lead West Alabama into the future.”

The Awards for Communications Excellence (ACE) program is held annually by ACCE, which represents more than 1,600 chambers of commerce and economic development organizations across North America.

β€œInnovative, engaging communications are essential for chambers of commerce to demonstrate their impact and amplify their communities’ stories,” ACCE President and CEO Sheree Anne Kelly said. β€œThis year’s winners have creatively celebrated their communities, strengthened local identity and showcased their commitment to inspiring progress and building vibrant, thriving regions.”

The winning entries, including the Chamber of Commerce of West Alabama's, will now advance to compete for the "Best in Show" honor, which will be announced during ACCE’s annual convention July 23 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
