City Of Tuscaloosa Accepting Toys To Cover Outstanding Parking Fines
Tuscaloosa residents will once again be able settle their outstanding parking fines this holiday season.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Tuscaloosa residents will once again be able settle their outstanding parking fines this holiday season by donating toys to local children in need.

Through Dec. 4, the City of Tuscaloosa will accept new, unwrapped toys as payment for $19 overtime parking tickets as part of its partnership with Toys for Tots.

The city says a toy valued at $10 or more will satisfy one $19 ticket, while toys worth $20 or more can be donated in place of two tickets.
Participants can drop off their toy donations at Tuscaloosa Municipal Court, 2122 Gary Fitts St., during regular business hours.

Donors are asked to include a receipt or price tag showing the toy’s value.
