Combination Smoothie And Cookie Concept Coming To Former Chongwah Location In Northport
Tropical Smoothie Café and Cookie Plug are set to move into the former Chongwah Express location on McFarland Boulevard.

NORTHPORT, AL — Northport City Council President Jeff Hogg on Thursday announced that Tropical Smoothie Café and Cookie Plug are set to move into the former Chongwah Express location on McFarland Boulevard.

Hogg said the location will feature both concepts, with an opening set for April.

As Patch previously reported, the owners of Chongwah Express opted to move out of the location in December in the hopes of finding a smaller space.
Hogg then said that most people are aware of Tropical Smoothie Café’s, Cookie Plug is one of the hottest-growing cookie companies in the country.

He went on to say the West Coast cookie concept will see its first Alabama location open in Northport.
