DCH Finishes Work On New Parking Deck For Tuscaloosa Campus

TUSCALOOSA, AL — DCH Regional Medical Center has announced the completion of its new parking deck set, which is set to officially open to patients and visitors Thursday.

DCH says the four-level parking structure will add 864 additional parking spaces, along with an abundance of Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) spots.

As Patch previously reported, the new south parking deck replaces the former parking deck that was over 50 years 0ld.

“The new parking deck underscores our commitment to improving accessibility and convenience for everyone who visits DCH,” DCH Health System President & CEO Katrina Keefer said. “This deck will serve our community for generations to come, and we know it will enhance the DCH experience for our patients and visitors.”

The parking deck also features a modern ticketing system designed for maximum convenience, with patients and visitors now able to pay for parking at kiosks inside the hospital.

DCH said the surface lots remain complimentary.
