DCH Health System Hires Maegan Smalley As Staff Attorney
DCH Health System on Monday announced that Maegan Smalley has been hired as a staff attorney for the west Alabama healthcare provider.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — DCH Health System on Monday announced that Maegan Smalley has been hired as a staff attorney for the west Alabama healthcare provider.

DCH says Smalley will assist with legal matters in a number of areas including general business, employment and legal issues impacting health care providers, such as ethics, consent, policy making, privacy, billing and medical practice.

Smalley previously worked for the Tuscaloosa County District Attorney’s office, served as a staff attorney for the Circuit Court Judge James H. Roberts Jr., and worked as a law clerk with the Turner Law Group.
“We are excited to welcome Maegan to our General Counsel team,” DCH General Counsel Scott Donaldson said. “She has a wealth of experience in legal research and trial preparation in both civil and criminal trials.”

DCH said Smalley is a graduate of Samford University’s Cumberland School of Law and received her bachelor’s degree in English from The University of Alabama.
