DCH To Host Free Community Health Fair In Snow Hinton Park Saturday

TUSCALOOSA, AL— DCH Health System is gearing up to host its third annual community health fair on Saturday, April 19, in Snow Hinton Park.

The free, dog-friendly event — held from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. — will provide community members the opportunity to access free health screenings and other wellness activities.

The health fair will also feature a kid’s fun zone and Easter egg hunt.

Other offerings will include:

• North Harbor will provide information on mental health resources available.
• Diabetes and Nutrition Services will lead a live healthy cooking demonstration.
• Several “Mindfulness Breaks” will be conducted to show how to destress.
• DCH Sleep Lab
• Women’s services
• Cancer services
• Laboratory services
• Radiology
