He will now oversee operations for Nutritional Services at all three DCH hospitals.

DCH says Johnigan began his health care food service career at Fayette Medical Center, where he started as an assistant director in Nutritional Services.
He was then hired in 2019 by DCH’s current food service contractor, Morrison Healthcare.

Johnigan would ultimately be promoted to director at FMC before transferring to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa as assistant director. Johnigan was then promoted to director.
Before his time at DCH, Johnigan also worked for Darden Restaurants in multiple capacities.
DCH says Johnigan studied business management at Auburn University of Montgomery and also served in the military.
