Demopolis Man Charged With Murder After Shooting In Greene County
A 31-year-old Forkland man was found shot to death Monday near the 13000 block of U.S. Highway 43.

FORKLAND, AL — The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) has launched a homicide investigation after a 31-year-old Forkland man was found shot to death Monday near the 13000 block of U.S. Highway 43.

ALEA's State Bureau of Investigation began the probe at the request of the Forkland Police Department.

The victim was identified as Boris Moody, 31, of Forkland.
Investigators then said Jamal Lee, 28, of Demopolis, was identified as the suspect.

He has been charged with murder and booked into the Greene County Jail. Additional charges are pending.
Moody was discovered at a Dollar General store in the area with multiple gunshot wounds and no further details, including a possible motive, have been released.
