Duncanville Woman Killed In Multi-Vehicle Crash Saturday

A Duncanville woman has been identified as the victim in a fatal multi-vehicle crash Saturday afternoon.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Duncanville woman has been identified as the victim in a fatal multi-vehicle crash near the Tuscaloosa city limits Saturday afternoon.

The Tuscaloosa Police Department (TPD) says its officers responded to a three-vehicle crash at 4:10 p.m. in the 6900 block of University Boulevard East.

TPD says A Honda Accord with three occupants was stopped at the intersection with Hurricane Road and waiting to turn left, when 69-year-old Sheree Ann Kelly of Duncanville struck the rear of their vehicle.

TPD said the driver behind Kelly, a friend who had just helped jump-start her truck’s battery, was unable to stop and struck the rear of her vehicle.

Kelly was pronounced dead at the scene after paramedics arrived and attempted life-saving measures.

TPD said the driver and front seat passenger of the Honda Accord were transported to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa for treatment of injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.

TPD’s Traffic Homicide Unit is conducting the follow-up investigation of the crash.
