TUSCALOOSA, AL — Two major acts are heading to the Mercedes-Benz Amphitheater later this summer, with rock band Evanescence and pop-rap star Pitbull scheduled to perform on separate nights.

Pitbull, known for his massive pop hits like “Timber” and “Give Me Everything,” will take the stage Thursday, Aug. 28.

Arkansas rockers Evanescence — made famous by their mega-hit "Bring Me To Life" — will perform the following month alongside Poppy and other special guests on Thursday, Sept. 11.
Tickets for both shows go on sale to the general public Friday, June 13, at 10 a.m.
