Former Hillcrest Patriot Earns Second Team All-GSC Honors

Former Hillcrest High School standout Khris Binion has been named Second Team All-Gulf South Conference.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — University of West Alabama graduate senior receiver and former Hillcrest High School standout Khris Binion has been named Second Team All-Gulf South Conference (GSC).

Binion, a team captain and decorated student, was one of 14 UWA Tigers to earn All-GSC honors as the regular season comes to a close. During the 2024 campaign, Binion snagged 40 catches for 516 yards and five touchdowns.

The Tuscaloosa native's best performance this season came in a win against North Greenville, when he finished with six catches for 96 yards and a touchdown. The touchdown catch in that game went for 63 yards.

During his time in Livingston, Binion has logged 781 yards and seven touchdowns.

Binion played high school ball at Hillcrest High for coach Sam Adams, winning an area championship in 2017.

He is the son of Kristin and Leon Binion. He has one brother, Khalin “KB” Binion.

After graduating from UWA with his undergraduate degree, Binion is presently working on earning his master's degree in Sport Management.
