TUSCALOOSA, AL — Crimson Tide standout shortstop Justin Lebron has been named to the 2025 Golden Spikes Award Midseason Watch List.

The native of Miramar, Florida is one of 45 amateur players on the midseason watch list for the Golden Spikes, which is presented annually to the top player from college and high school baseball.

Lebron will look to become the second Alabama player to win the award since Dave Magadan won the honor following 1983 season.
He has started in all 30 games for the Crimson Tide, batting .342 (41-120) with nine doubles, one triple and 13 home runs. The sophomore has also racked up a nation-leading 53 RBI and 36 runs scored.

Semifinalists will be announced on May 18, with fans able to vote for their favorite player on GoldenSpikesAward.com.
The 2025 Golden Spikes Award winner will be revealed in late June in conjunction with the end of the season.
