Sellers said when officers arrived, they spoke with a 38-year-old Tuscaloosa resident who said that the suspect had robbed and shot him. The victim's wounds are not believed to be life-threatening and he was last reported to be in stable condition.
He went on to say that after speaking with witnesses and the victim, investigators were able to identify a possible suspect and took them into custody.

"After the initial investigation was completed, it was found that the suspect was given money by the victim," Sellers said. "The suspect then came back and demanded more money. When the victim refused, the suspect shot the victim and took additional money."
Sellers then said the suspect, who will not be publicly identified due to being a juvenile, has been charged with first-degree robbery and attempted murder.
The suspect is being held at the Tuscaloosa County Jail with a bond to be set by a judge, due to their age and the severity of the crimes.
