Karaoke Night At Hotel Indigo To Benefit Theatre Tuscaloosa

Theatre Tuscaloosa's Board of Directors invites the public to sing for a cause during its first Community Karaoke Night later this month

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Theatre Tuscaloosa’s Board of Directors invites the public to sing for a cause during its first Community Karaoke Night later this month at The Lookout Rooftop Bar atop Hotel Indigo.

The event is set for Sunday, June 22, from 5 to 8 p.m. and will be part of Hotel Indigo’s summer “community nights” series, which supports local nonprofit organizations.

As part of the free event, 10% of all drink sales will benefit Theatre Tuscaloosa and its mission to enrich life in West Alabama through theatrical and educational programming.

“We are thrilled to be included in Hotel Indigo’s efforts to give back,” said Board President Kim Palm. “Partnering with local businesses in Tuscaloosa is something we hope to do more of in the future, and I can’t wait to sing for a cause at our Community Karaoke!”

Guests will enjoy a special sneak peek performance by cast members from "Anastasia" — the theatre’s upcoming production running July 17–28 at the newly renovated Bean-Brown Theatre.

Attendees will also have a chance to win a one-night stay at Hotel Indigo and a gift card to Avenue Pub.

“This event is a fun way to kick off an exciting summer at Theatre Tuscaloosa,” Executive Producer Tina Turley said. “I love karaoke, and I just know our community does, too.”
