Proceeds generated from the event benefit the church's children’s ministries, mission projects and a community grant.

β€œLittle Lambs is the perfect opportunity for parents, grandparents and friends to find deals on gently used clothing, toys, strollers, furniture and more,” Little Lambs Committee member Janine McGee said. β€œWhile shoppers find amazing buys, a portion of the proceeds also help the FUMCT ministries with resources that benefit children of the church and our community. I personally love that I can buy most of what my child needs for half the year, and buy a size up in case he hits an unexpected growth spurt.”

In years past, the event has provided an estimated 20,000 items for sale, including fall and winter holiday clothing and costumes for kids.

Doors open to the public on Thursday, Feb. 29 at 6 p.m. for a preview sale, which charges $5 and offers shoppers a first chance at the items before the general public. There is also a no-stroller policy for the preview sale.

Organizers say on Friday, March 1 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. the sale will be open to the public with free admission, while on Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon the sale will include most items at half price.
