Livingston Man Killed Saturday In Sumter County Crash
A Livingston man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday night on U.S. Highway 11 in Sumter County.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Livingston man was killed in a single-vehicle crash Saturday night on U.S. Highway 11 in Sumter County.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) said the fatal crash occurred at approximately 8:15 p.m. Saturday when the 2005 Mercury Mountaineer driven by Allen D. Reed, 48, left the roadway, struck a ditch, overturned and struck a tree.

ALEA said Reed was transported to Hill Hospital in York, where he died from his injuries.
The crash occurred approximately one mile south of Epes in Sumter County.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
