Marion Man Killed In Greene County Crash Early Thursday Morning

TUSCALOOSA, AL — A Marion man is dead following a single-vehicle crash in Greene County early Thursday morning.

The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says the fatal crash occurred at about 6 a.m. when a 2009 Dodge Ram 1500 pickup driven by Rodney M. Milner, 65, left the roadway and struck a tree.

ALEA reported that Milner was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene on Greene County Road 18 near Swan Lane, roughly four miles north of Demopolis.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
