New Vendors Announced For Tuscaloosa Farmers Market

The Tuscaloosa Farmers Market on Friday announced its largest vendor expansion to date.

TUSCALOOSA, AL β€” The Tuscaloosa Farmers Market on Friday announced its largest vendor expansion to date, with the weekly market now accommodating up to 65 vendors.

β€œFor the last several years our vendor waiting list has at times exceeded 50 vendors. So, the time had come to figure out a way to expand,” Tuscaloosa River Market Operations Managaer Alexis Clark said. β€œI’ve seen several of our vendors grow their businesses from vending from a 6-foot table in the center of our market, to opening a brick & mortar storefront. I see the Farmers Market as a small business incubator. It was important to me to be able to expand the Farmers Market to include these new vendors.”

The year-round farmers market is open every Saturday from 7 a.m. until 12 p.m., rain or shine at the Tuscaloosa River Market, which is located at 1900 Jack Warner Parkway.
