No. 4 Alabama Tops Triple Digits In Home Win Over Vanderbilt
The Crimson Tide made easy work of the Commodores Tuesday night inside the friendly confines of Coleman Coliseum.

TUSCALOOSA, AL — No. 4 Alabama (16-3, 5-1 SEC) held off a late surge to remain second in the Southeastern Conference standings with a 103-87 win over Vanderbilt (15-4, 3-3 SEC) Tuesday night in Coleman Coliseum.

The Crimson Tide controlled the tempo for most of the game, which saw All-American point guard Mark Sears top the 2,500 career points mark. Sears finished 5-12 from the floor and 11-13 from the free throw line to finish with 21 points, while contributing 10 points in the first half.

Aden Holloway came off the bench to lead the team in scoring by going 8-11 from the field and 4-6 from three-point range to finish with 22 points, along with Mouhamed Dioubate, who finished with a double-double by contributing 22 points off the bench and 10 rebounds.
Five players finished in double figures for the Tide: Holloway (22), Sears (21), Dioubate (22), Jarin Stevenson (10) and Grant Nelson (10).

Alabama shot 36-of-64 from the floor and 36% from behind the arch, along the offense getting 52 points from the bench.
The win extended Alabama's present streak over Vanderbilt to four games.
The Crimson Tide will return to action on Saturday, Jan. 25 when the LSU Tigers come to Tuscaloosa. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m., with SEC Network carrying the broadcast.
