Northport Addresses Confusion Over Municipal Election Polling Locations

This comes after several individuals posted photos online of voter registration letters with the wrong polling location listed.

NORTHPORT, AL — The City of Northport on Monday addressed confusion caused by voter registration postcards recently sent out to residents ahead of the municipal election on Aug. 26.

This comes after several individuals posted photos online of voter registration letters with the wrong polling location listed. The confusion also comes in the wake of recent changes to district lines in the city.

The City of Northport has prepared additional informational postcards that will be mailed to all registered voters residing within city limits. These postcards will reflect the newly established district lines and indicate each voter's correct polling location.

District 1 — Northport City Hall, 3500 McFarland Boulevard.

District 2 — New Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 1317 Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard.

District 3 — Daystar Family Church, 3975 Watermelon Road.

District 4 — Northport Fire & Rescue Station 2, 5410 Highway 69 North.

District 5 — Flatwoods Baptist Church, 4520 70th Avenue.
