Northport Bunny Trail To Host Grand Opening Saturday
The Junior League of Tuscaloosa is set to host the annual Northport Bunny Trail, with a grand opening in downtown Northport on Saturday.

NORTHPORT, AL β The Junior League of Tuscaloosa is set to host the annual Northport Bunny Trail, with a grand opening in downtown Northport planned for Saturday, March 2.

The Bunny Trail will once again offer residents and visitors a showcase of decorated eggs sponsored by a long list of local businesses, organizations, and individuals.

βThis is a great opportunity for the Junior League to host an event that means so much to the community,β Junior League of Tuscaloosa President Austin Butler said. βFunds raised from this event allows our organization to continue our work of developing the potential of women, as well as providing charitable support to important causes in our community.β
After the kickoff event this weekend, the downtown installment will conclude on Easter Sunday, March 31.

The Bunny Trail will also host a series of spring-themed events designed for visitors of all ages.
A Pet Egg-Stravaganza is scheduled for Sunday, March 17, from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m., while March 24 will see the Bunny Trail's Egg Hunt hosted from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Last yearβs inaugural Bunny Trail was hosted by Tuscaloosaβs One Place.
"The first Northport Bunny Trail event was such a huge success, and we saw how much the community enjoyed having a spring event,β Tuscaloosaβs One Place Executive Director Kevin Besnoy said. βWe are so pleased that the Junior League of Tuscaloosa will be taking the lead on this yearβs event and appreciate their commitment to growing this effort for many years to come.β
