The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) says the fatal crash occurred at approximately 2:05 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 10, when the 2006 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Oscar L. Trejo, 20, left the roadway and struck a tree.

ALEA said Trejo was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
