The new location, dubbed Chick-fil-A Northport West, will be operated by Ashley Gill — a longtime Chick-fil-A franchisee and Northport resident.
This will be Gill’s second Chick-fil-A restaurant in Northport, joining the existing location on McFarland Boulevard she has operated for 16 years.

The new restaurant is located at 6375 McFarland Boulevard and will offer dine-in, drive-thru, carry-out, delivery, catering and Mobile Thru options. It will be open Monday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and will feature a playground for families with children.
“Chick-fil-A has been a meaningful part of my life and my family’s story,” Gill said. “I’m thankful for this opportunity because it allows us to enhance the dining experience for Guests and create new opportunities for Team Members.”
Gill is a third-generation Chick-fil-A owner-operator, following in the footsteps of her grandfather and father, while her brother operates a location in Jacksonville.
Chick-fil-A said this year marks Gill's 20th anniversary with the company.
As part of the grand opening, Chick-fil-A, Inc. says it will donate $25,000 to Feeding America to support local hunger relief through the Heart of Alabama Food Bank and its affiliate, the West Alabama Food Bank.
Chick-fil-A also plans to partner with the Tuscaloosa Community Soup Bowl through the Chick-fil-A Shared Table program, which donates surplus food to local nonprofits.
The new restaurant on its opening day plans to honor 100 local heroes from Tuscaloosa Angels and Freedom Farm by providing free Chick-fil-A entrées for a year.
