One Injured In West Tuscaloosa Shooting

TUSCALOOSA, AL — One person was injured in a shooting Tuesday morning in Tuscaloosa's West End.

Captain Marty Sellers of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit told local media that investigators responded after the Tuscaloosa Police Department initially received the call of a shooting in the 300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Sellers said one male was shot but is in stable condition.

In an update Tuesday morning, Sellers also said a possible suspect is in custody and witnesses are being interviewed.

No other information has been made public concerning the circumstances of the shooting.
