Captain Marty Sellers of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit told local media that investigators responded after the Tuscaloosa Police Department initially received the call of a shooting in the 300 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Sellers said one male was shot but is in stable condition.
In an update Tuesday morning, Sellers also said a possible suspect is in custody and witnesses are being interviewed.
