TUSCALOOSA, AL — Authorities are investigating a shooting Monday at the University of Alabama Arboretum that resulted in one person being hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit, said officers from the Tuscaloosa Police Department and the University of Alabama Police Department responded to the scene.
