Captain Marty Sellers of the Tuscaloosa Violent Crimes Unit told local media that the shooting occurred at 5100 Old Montgomery Highway.

In an update Monday afternoon, investigators responded at 10:24 p.m. Sunday night to Landmark Apartments, where the victim was found shot to death.
No arrest has been made at this time and Captain Jack Kennedy, commander of the multiagency unit, said the investigation is active and ongoing.

The victim has also not been identified at this point in the investigation.
